Shari Repasz Schwendener

Shari Repasz Schwendener began dancing in the mid 1980’s. She has studied at the Boston Conservatory, with Adrienne Hawkins, Andy Taylor- Blenis, Diane Noya and Liz Lapuh, and received certification in the Thomson Technique from choreographer and physical movement specialist Bill Thomson. She has worked with numerous dance companies, including Perla Joy Furr, 'DancEdge’, 'The Jazz Dance Project’, 'The E.B. Dance Project’, 'Rainbow Tribe’, and Adrienne Hawkins. Shari also performs regularly with her husband, Ben Schwendener and his band, most recently in Caux, Switzerland, and at the Regattabar in Cambridge. She has taught at Impulse - The Studio, Jeanette Neil Dance Studio, Newton Chiropractic, and Ave Sol School for the Arts in Watertown, MA. Along with private and small group instruction offered in Gravity Arts Studio 2 in Jamaica Plain, Shari also teaches ballet and jazz classes at the Dancers Workshop in Sudbury, MA.
